The motif of inverted crosses is a hapax in Roland Buraud's work. The very particular form of the triptych, whose narrow central part is larger than the two lateral parts, never ceases to question, but the cruciform dimension of the painting suggests a diverted religious character. The series itself presents 5 canvases of different colors, which is again a specificity of this set.
